BR Carpet Company, named for its owners, Joe Bowman and Dana Rothaus, began as Bowman Floor Contracting in 1993. Many long-time area residents will remember the store front on Walnut Street from which Bowman Contracting first made its mark on the community.

Joe Bowman’s 25-years of experience in the flooring industry made him a leading, highly-respected area expert in flooring matters, with a well-deserved reputation for his sound judgment, keen eye, and the care he takes to protect his customers’ best interests. Dana Rothaus spent nearly 25-years working in the contracting and service industry, too, specializing in corporate and government accounts, bringing with him a clear understanding of the specific needs that come with renovations and remodeling in larger facilities. When the two decided to combine forces in 2005, BR Carpet was born, quickly growing to become the leading area provider and installer of flooring materials for both residential and commercial customers.

BR Carpet continues to be run by the Bowman and Rothaus families today. Our family-friendly, old-fashioned values are apparent from the moment you step into our neighborhood store. As area residents ourselves, it is important to us that our neighbors know they can come to us for help, advice, and an honest, square deal. Your opinions matter greatly to us, and we strive to please each customer, no matter the size of your project. We will work closely with you from the beginning till the end of your project; from the design and cost analysis, through the installation and project completion.
